Belle Vue pupils mentioned in the House of Commons

As mentioned before, three Belle Vue pupils work was discussed by Mike Wood MP in a House of Commons debate relating to a letter they wrote to him about slavery as a result of our Black History week assemblies.

This can be seen on Parliamentary TV if you enter Mike Wood and Anti Slavery in the search engine on the Parliamentary site.  In addition, Mr Wood MP has sent each pupil a copy of Hansard, the official record of debates/discussions held each day which has documented their work and a letter each from him. A lovely and much appreciated gesture.

What a marvellous achievement by the children and fantastic recognition of the work we undertake to ensure our pupils are global learners.
